I have prepared a comprehensive submission to the draft report of the Productivity Commission on mental health. My concerns were about 9 main issues. Primarily the loss of focus on those with severe mental illness by the discussion about mental health as if it is a single entity, the naive comments about workers compensation, the lack of any detail about recruiting, training and paying for the extra workforce required to implement their recommendations.
